Civil Ceremonies can take place at the house for up to 200 guests in The Orangery. We can help you to create a tailored service, meaningful to the individuals across, decorations, music and styling. The Orangery is a gallery style former Cider barn, allowing guests to look onto the couple and be part of an intimate ceremony. A fabulous platform for guests to feel like a VIP for the occasion.
By prior arrangement it is possible to have a blessing or full marriage service at St James, the Great Church, a 12th Century Church situated three miles from Oldcastle in Colwall village. The ancient church seats up to 300 guests and is a quintessentially English church with a warm and very accommodating approach by its Vicar, Melanie Horton, who has even allowed dogs to be part of the service. Its handsome nave roof, stone bell tower and mini Tudor former village hall out building, offer many charismatic photoshoot and after service tipple locations.
Oldcastle know how to help you create a sophisticated and memorable spiritual blessing ceremony. We can cater for up to 200 guests for ceremonies held in The Orangery. Furthermore, for those wishing to use the grounds to host their ceremony, there are many beautiful intimate settings for larger numbers still within the calm and tranquil surroundings of the house grounds.
